Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy virtual prototype solutions for next-generation cellular and connectivity products.
- Develop Virtual Platform IP models for complex SoCs using SystemC or similar languages.
- Integrate platforms and subsystems and develop test benches and test cases for verification.
- Support software bring-up on simulation platforms and collaborate with software, SoC, and system engineering teams.
- Integrate cycle-accurate CPU subsystems for profiling, performance modeling, hybrid simulation, and simulation speed optimization.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and build AI agents to improve coding, debugging, automation, and simulation workflows.
- Use Git and GitHub for branching, code reviews, and CI/CD.
Requirements
- Bachelor's-level BE/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent degree, or an M.Tech in Electronics Engineering.
- 7–14 years of experience in virtual platform development, virtual prototyping, IP modeling, platform integration, and verification for complex SoCs.
- Strong programming proficiency in C/C++ and scripting experience with Python.
- Hands-on experience with test-bench development, subsystem integration, and virtual platform verification test cases.
- Experience supporting software bring-up on simulation platforms.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for coding, debugging, and automation, including building AI agents for simulation workflows.
- Strong understanding of CPU architectures, subsystems, complex SoC architecture, and hardware/software interfaces is preferred.
- Experience integrating cycle-accurate CPU subsystems and with profiling, performance modeling, hybrid simulation, and simulation speed optimization is preferred.
- Familiarity with cellular concepts, 3GPP standards, or L1/L2 layers is preferred.
