Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services while collaborating with frontend developers across the full stack.
- Improve engineering practices through high-quality code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
- Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions with product and R&D engineers.
- Identify and resolve backend technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing across distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining complex, enterprise-grade distributed systems.
- 6+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Working familiarity with React and modern frontend development.
- Deep knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, asynchronous event-driven design, data persistence, and scalable software design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL or caching stores.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, plus analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with NestJS, AWS, identity and security domains, or related technologies is preferred.
