Base Salary

$184k - $357k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for LiDAR and camera perception and multi-sensor fusion.
  • Develop end-to-end ML workflows covering data pipelines, model training, metrics, performance instrumentation, and reporting.
  • Take ML models and algorithms from experimentation through production on the NVIDIA DRIVE AV platform.
  • Develop efficient product code in C++ and incorporate new machine learning techniques to improve platform performance.
  • Collaborate with perception teams, developers, engineers, and managers to deliver reliable autonomous-driving solutions.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant industry experience applying machine learning to real-world problems.
  • Strong C++ and Python programming and debugging skills for large, complex systems.
  • Deep practical experience with LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion in automotive or related fields.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, plus strong mathematical foundations in machine learning.
  • Experience building and sustaining training and metric workflows for large-scale datasets.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred experience developing and shipping production deep learning models for LiDAR, camera perception, and multi-sensor fusion.
  • Preferred familiarity with Transformers, autonomous vehicle or robotics production systems, and model optimization with TensorRT for real-time embedded or automotive inference.

Benefits

  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
  • Base salary ranges from 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4 and from 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5, depending on location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
