Responsibilities
- Design and implement enhancements to application systems for clearly defined business problems.
- Build and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Analyze application issues, evaluate solutions, and implement fixes aligned with business processes and standards.
- Write clean, maintainable code using scripting tools and debugging techniques.
- Develop working knowledge of application systems, network operations, database administration, and client-server architecture.
- Assess and adapt technical solutions when existing procedures do not fully apply.
- Identify and escalate technology risk and compliance considerations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in application development, software testing, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with UI testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Karate Framework, Postman/Newman, or SoapUI.
- Experience with BDD/TDD tools such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton, Docker, and pipeline execution tools.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including complex SQL queries.
- Experience with Mockito, WireMock, or similar service virtualization and mocking tools.
- Experience with JIRA, Xray/Zephyr, Confluence, or HP ALM/Octane.
- Exposure to consumer operations technology, financial services application development, software quality assurance, client-server architecture, database administration, or systems administration is beneficial.
