Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead customer technical projects by designing and delivering production-grade data, AI, and application systems.
- Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
- Design and build reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion systems, and ML/AI model integrations.
- Guide customers through architecture, implementation, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks solutions.
- Embed with customer teams and collaborate with stakeholders ranging from technical individual contributors to executives.
- Coordinate with engagement managers, project managers, architects, engineering, customer support, and client teams to deliver technical engagements.
- Provide product and implementation feedback and help resolve engagement-specific technical issues.
- Create reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that scale across customer accounts and influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
- Ability to write production code in Python, Scala, JavaScript, or TypeScript and use modern frameworks.
- Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems—AWS, Azure, or GCP—with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments, MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
- Experience designing and deploying performant end-to-end data architectures and applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
- Experience delivering technical projects, including managing scope and timelines and translating complex concepts into actionable solutions.
- Strong documentation and whiteboarding skills.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing conflicts across broad stakeholder groups.
- Adaptability, curiosity, customer empathy, and eagerness to explore technologies supporting Databricks-based solution deployment and integration.
- Databricks Certification.
- U.S. government Top Secret clearance is required; candidates with an active Secret or higher clearance are encouraged to apply.
