Base Salary
$126k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enable embedded firmware for the Always ON subsystem and manage allocated power and thermal budgets.
- Work with hardware power management and firmware teams on limits management and power-management solutions.
- Characterize existing and new IPs and support third-party enablement of new platforms.
- Provide input to SoC and platform architects on future designs.
- Define, model, design, optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document ASIC IP, blocks, SoCs, or IC packages.
- Create architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations based on system requirements.
- Evaluate design flows including synthesis, place and route, timing, power use, and verification.
- Use RTL-to-GDS and Virtuoso tools and provide guidance to other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of related ASIC experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 3+ years or a PhD and 2+ years.
- Preferred master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Preferred 6+ years of related ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience with architecture and design tools, scripting tools, programming languages, and design verification methods.
- Preferred 1+ year of experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently, make significant technical decisions, communicate complex information, and provide supervision or guidance to team members.
