Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build data pipelines that transform raw advertising events into advertiser-facing metrics.
  • Design and ship table-based Lakehouse platform capabilities for faster onboarding, simpler operations, and broader data access.
  • Create automated data validation and monitoring systems to maintain accuracy at scale.
  • Improve infrastructure efficiency and reduce operational costs across a large compute fleet.
  • Partner with teams to onboard new advertising products onto the reporting platform.
  • Build AI-powered tooling and autonomous operations agents that improve platform reliability and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR, or Storm/Samza.
  • At least 2 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Annual base salary of $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD for the Seattle, Washington position, with potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
