Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, resilient Java full stack applications aligned with enterprise architecture and secure engineering standards.
  • Build and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, relational database solutions, and React frontend components.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews and engineering quality improvements.
  • Perform unit, component, integration, and regression testing and support deployment, testing cycles, and post-production stabilization.
  • Provide application maintenance, production support, monitoring, configuration management, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
  • Analyze business and technology requirements and translate them into technical solutions with analysts, designers, infrastructure, QA, and business teams.
  • Provide technical input on project scope, solution approach, estimates, timelines, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
  • Apply secure coding practices, investigate root causes, manage technical risks, and improve operational stability and service reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 11 or later, Spring Boot, core Java, object-oriented design, collections, concurrency, and modern development practices.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, query optimization, and SQL development.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations.
  • Strong experience with microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API contracts, resiliency, observability, and deployment considerations.
  • Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development, including reusable components, state management, and backend integration.
  • Financial-institution Java development experience and knowledge of enterprise controls, regulatory expectations, and production support are preferred.
  • Python experience for automation, scripting, data analysis, or support tooling is preferred.
  • Experience with Prime Brokerage, Securities Finance, related capital markets domains, or Broadridge BPSA is preferred or considered an advantage.
