Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for PSI Metals MES and participate in solutioning for global proposals and pre-sales activities.
- Configure, customize, and set up workflows in PSI Metals across production planning, quality, material tracking, and yield management modules.
- Deliver full-cycle PSI Metals implementations covering requirements analysis, mapping, technical design, development, testing, and go-live deployment.
- Support, maintain, and enhance deployed PSI Metals solutions across production and quality operations.
- Integrate PSI Metals with ERP systems, shopfloor systems, SCADA, historians, and weighing or measuring equipment.
- Solve complex business and technical problems while collaborating with clients, operational managers, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with the profile specifying at least 6 years in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- Hands-on experience with the PSI Metals MES suite and at least one end-to-end implementation project is required.
- Strong knowledge of PSI Metals Production Planning & Scheduling, Quality Management, Material Tracking, and Yield Management modules is required.
- Experience integrating PSI Metals with ERP systems, preferably SAP, for material masters, production orders, and quality notifications is required.
- Knowledge of PSI Metals interfaces, including shopfloor systems, SCADA, historians, weighing or measuring equipment, flat files, web services, and database interfaces, is required.
- Strong understanding of metals manufacturing processes, including hot rolling, cold rolling, casting, or finishing lines, is required.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, collaboration, problem-solving, and team coordination skills are expected.
