Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using TypeScript for the frontend and Python for the backend.
- Build new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions across one or more software platforms.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical design decisions.
- Apply system design, architecture, and trade-off analysis to engineering work.
- Collaborate with Product Management throughout the software development process, including requirements definition and work-in-progress reviews.
- Address issues identified through manual testing efforts.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, peer code reviews, and the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers effectively.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
- 7+ years of Python development experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on TypeScript experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including Kubernetes and AWS.
- Technical leadership or management experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
