Responsibilities
- Evaluate new or modified software programs based on user requests and prepare technical specifications with high-level time estimates.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain web applications and software solutions using Microsoft .NET and related web technologies.
- Design databases and write SQL, T-SQL scripts, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
- Handle production environments and investigate issues reported in production.
- Participate in peer code reviews and create reference documentation.
- Apply software design and development best practices to produce clean, readable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with business analysts, designers, architects, developers, and quality analysts.
- Apply knowledge of digital experience platforms, web content management, ecommerce applications, and UI development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Web Applications certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft web-based technologies, including MVC and MVC Core.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, .NET Framework, Web Forms, SQL Server, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, and AJAX.
- Knowledge of database design, SQL, T-SQL scripts, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
- Understanding of the digital experience platform and web content management or CMS industry.
- Strong software design experience and ecommerce domain knowledge.
- Understanding of the UI development process and production issue handling.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
