Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate full-stack tools and AI-powered services used by network engineers across thousands of Amazon sites.
- Develop AI agents using large language models for infrastructure debugging, intelligent question answering, and deployment coordination.
- Build and improve downtime window management systems for maintenance coordination, deployment reservations, and conflict prevention.
- Collaborate with network engineers, systems engineers, Site Operations, and product managers to create scalable self-service solutions spanning web interfaces, command-line tools, and authorization systems.
- Mentor peers through code reviews and design discussions, identify service bottlenecks, and drive operational improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
