Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with engineers to ensure timely delivery.
- Partner with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Ship web and mobile applications and develop scalable APIs across multiple software components.
- Write clear, well-tested, extensible code; navigate large codebases, debug code, and participate in code reviews.
- Create and monitor metrics, support artifact availability, escalate issues, and participate in on-call and keep-the-lights-on efforts.
- Participate in team growth and development activities, including interviewing.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience shipping mobile applications using native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.
- Ability to turn business scenarios into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, tested, extensible code.
- Ability to navigate large codebases, debug others’ code, and provide feedback through code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
- Either equivalent practical experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
