Responsibilities
- Own the planning, coordination, and execution of test and quality activities within a cross-functional product team.
- Lead and contribute to test engineering initiatives affecting multiple engineering teams.
- Select testing techniques based on technical and customer understanding of the product.
- Build maintainable test frameworks and automated test suites.
- Clarify acceptance criteria and prioritize quality improvements with engineering and product colleagues.
- Support acceptance testing and combine automation with exploratory testing.
- Mentor colleagues and improve delivery pipelines, release processes, and feedback loops.
- Advocate for quality and strengthen the team’s testing culture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software testing experience.
- Strong test design and automation experience across web, backend, or mobile systems.
- Strong coding skills in multiple languages, such as TypeScript, Java, Ruby, and Python.
- Experience with test tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance testing, containerization, and cloud environments.
- Experience using or building AI-assisted development or testing tools.
- Solid understanding of testing techniques and quality engineering practices.
