Responsibilities

Lead or support advisory services, strategic planning, business case development, proposal management, solution design, solution reviews, risk analysis, bid preparation, and client presentations.
Architect complete infrastructure solutions, evaluate requirements against portfolio offerings, perform build-versus-buy analyses, and ensure solution integrity.
Develop technical estimates, work breakdown structures, statements of work, solution designs, architectural models, prototypes, and system integration approaches.
Provide technical oversight for medium to large client implementations, including requirements management, design, configuration, installation, testing, cutover, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
Act as a subject-matter expert and key client contact for solution processes, products, integration, implementation methodologies, timelines, technical issues, and delivery progress.
Coordinate architect resources, conduct peer and project reviews, monitor risks and schedules, and collaborate with clients, peers, service providers, and subcontractors.
Mentor junior architects and may assign tasks, review work, provide performance feedback, and create development plans.

BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
Significant client exposure across varied technologies, industries, and domains, with subject-matter expertise in at least two Unisys portfolio solutions.
Experience in at least two technology areas including server operating systems, database and information management, networks, security, desktop technology, virtualization, infrastructure and device monitoring, mobility solutions, or application platforms and integration.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams.
Advanced proficiency with the Unisys Services and Solutions Delivery Framework and strong knowledge of process frameworks such as CMMI.
Knowledge of applicable standards and frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, ISO, TOGAF, and FEAF.
Understanding of datacenter operations, infrastructure implementation methodologies, project management concepts, requirements traceability, change management, estimation, risk management, and work breakdown structures.
Presales and implementation experience in at least two related roles, such as system analyst, implementer, integrator, test analyst, system administrator, tool specialist, team leader, or architect.
Completion of the Architect L&D Guide Infrastructure Architect “Proficient” level learning path.
