Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software supporting the customer’s GEOINT mission.
- Build and maintain secure, containerized applications, microservices, RESTful APIs, and web-based applications.
- Develop frontend interfaces and backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in Agile development sprints, stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Support DevSecOps pipelines and ensure code meets security and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with mission users, cloud engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and improve user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, resolve team-prioritized tasks, and mentor junior developers as needed.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required by contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a polygraph examination.
- Proficiency with web technologies, object-oriented programming, Go, frontend and backend frameworks, cloud platforms, relational databases, operating systems, and Git.
- Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex software systems into production.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud environments, containerization technologies, secure coding practices, and government accreditation processes such as RMF and STIGs.
- Preferred qualifications include UI/UX experience, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, multi-cloud architectures, AWS services, customer contracts or Intelligence Community experience, geospatial tools and standards, Infrastructure-as-Code, and relevant certifications.
Benefits
- Position may be performed in Gaithersburg, MD; Alexandria or Chantilly, VA; Englewood, CO; St. Louis, MO; or Tucson, AZ, with Gaithersburg as the primary program location.
- Stated pay range is $87,100.00–$157,450.00 annually.
