Base Salary

$119k - $157k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead test environment strategy and planning for assigned initiatives and release cycles.
  • Analyze environment gaps, develop remediation plans, and drive issues to closure.
  • Coordinate environment needs with Test Delivery, UAT, QE, infrastructure, application support, development, data integration, project management, governance, and vendor teams.
  • Configure databases, virtual machines, operating systems, networks, and application servers to support end-to-end testing.
  • Build, reserve, refresh, reuse, and reclaim environments while prioritizing environment build and change requests.
  • Manage environment configurations, maps, matrices, status tracking, reporting, forecasting, and project sequencing.
  • Resolve environment contentions and conflicts among stakeholders and support continuous release schedules.
  • Coordinate with Test Data Management resources to ensure test data is masked and ready for execution.
  • Provide quality and compliance subject matter expertise and lead test environment and data management teams.
  • Lead, guide, train, coach, and mentor TEM Engineer I and II team members.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of information systems and quality engineering experience.
  • At least five years of experience in test environment or test data management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a similar technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with various product vendors and developing test environment strategies and plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and track multiple projects across the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience communicating project timelines, contingency plans, environment budgets, and resource allocation to management.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality assurance processes, test environment and test data management tools, test automation, CI/CD, Agile environments, DevOps, and the technical work required to stand up test environments.
  • Budget preparation and fiscal management skills, along with strong planning, analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead through change, coordinate cross-functional efforts, present issues to senior management, prioritize workloads, and complete projects and deadlines.
