Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade Ansible, Python, and/or Go automation for bare-metal provisioning, IPMI/Redfish hardware lifecycle operations, and autonomous remediation.
- Design fault-tolerant provisioning systems with self-healing and auto-remediation capabilities.
- Develop telemetry pipelines for hardware and system monitoring using metrics, logs, and distributed tracing.
- Partner with cross-functional and software engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions and define production-readiness criteria, including SLOs, health checks, and rollback requirements.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Production Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience in a cloud or hybrid environment.
- Deep Linux/Unix systems expertise, including OS internals, kernel networking, boot pipelines, and low-level system debugging.
- Hands-on experience across GCP and/or AWS, on-premises datacenter operations, and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Expertise building durable, idempotent, and repeatable automation with Python and/or Go.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Preferred experience with AIOps, AI-driven predictive scaling, automated anomaly detection, Temporal.io, Cadence, or building a full observability stack from scratch.
