Responsibilities
- Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
- Define desired security states and risk thresholds and assess actual environments for compliance.
- Advise organizational leaders on converting strategic objectives into security doctrine and procedures.
- Evaluate applications, software, and utility programs for software assurance best-practice compliance.
- Research environments and recommend tools and capabilities across on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
- Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes developed for customer environments.
- Collaborate with intelligence-community clients to ensure security standards and requirements are met.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a counter-intelligence polygraph.
- Five or more years of experience building and administering cloud environments using cloud-native functionality and commercial, government, and open-source tools.
- Experience developing and evaluating system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
- Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, troubleshooting, and the Risk Management Framework.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Associate’s degree with five or more years, bachelor’s degree with three or more years, or master’s degree with one or more years supporting IT projects and activities.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, such as SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP, within 30 days of starting.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 CSSP-IS certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND, within 30 days of starting.
- Preferred: experience with the software development life cycle and cloud technologies.
- Preferred: strong team leadership, client relationship, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
