Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant JavaScript/TypeScript applications using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Own frontend features from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical design discussions and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, container-based development environments, and standard branching and merge request workflows.
  • Monitor web standards, browser support, emerging platform features, and frontend performance.
  • Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Experience with two or more JavaScript frameworks or libraries, with React preferred.
  • Experience with a component library such as MUI (Material UI).
  • English proficiency.
  • Preferred qualifications include HTML5 and CSS3 expertise, Git and code review experience, frontend unit and integration testing, TypeScript, React ecosystem tools, Vue or Svelte, Docker, Vite or Webpack, CI/CD, observability, web application security practices, and peer mentoring.
