Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop scalable, secure, reliable, performant, and cost-conscious solution architectures.
- Design and maintain enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, operational data stores, data models, integrations, and access standards.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, automation workflows, and data integrations.
- Monitor and optimize data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Implement data governance, master data management, metadata management, lineage, cataloging, security, and access standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, infrastructure teams, and cross-functional product teams.
- Document architecture standards and lead modernization and mayoral initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus six years of related full-time experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any field plus ten years of related full-time experience.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the stated alternatives may qualify.
- Related experience includes enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture, and/or IT infrastructure systems.
