Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end features in scalable, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Own components from design through deployment and operate services reliably at Microsoft scale.
- Ensure the quality, performance, telemetry, error handling, and operational health of production services.
- Shape technical direction for asset discovery, attack-path analysis, and AI-driven risk initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams and provide dependable technical support and clear thinking.
- Build services that discover assets, map attack paths, quantify exposure, and support security remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: 4+ years designing, building, and operating scalable cloud services or distributed systems with production ownership and CI/CD integration.
- Preferred: 4+ years programming in C#, Java, Go, or Python.
- Must pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
