Base Salary
$175k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build Sesame’s standalone iOS companion app for a new consumer product category
- Design and implement seamless iOS experiences with wearable devices in collaboration with hardware and firmware teams
- Deliver complex projects with engineering, design, and product teams
- Collaborate with iOS, Android, and web engineers on Sesame’s mobile and web strategy
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code focused on performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and App Store release cycles
Requirements
- Strong iOS app design judgment and a portfolio of beautiful, useful apps created or substantially contributed to
- Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, Core Bluetooth, and Apple design guidelines
- Experience building apps for IoT or wearable devices
- Experience with Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled devices and/or over-the-air firmware updates
- Passion for building fast, ergonomic, and innovative iOS interfaces
- Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Preferred: experience with iOS AccessorySetupKit
- Preferred: hands-on experience with iOS app software development lifecycles, build trains, testing strategy, and current UI architecture patterns
- Preferred: experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment
