Responsibilities
- Provide in-market technical support to technology partners and help ensure positive customer outcomes.
- Support partner development through Design-Win processes, MongoDB best practices, and solution interoperability guidance.
- Act as the technical domain expert and central point of contact for partner-related matters.
- Monitor partner cases, facilitate partner engagement, and manage partner escalation contacts and processes.
- Onboard partners by documenting contacts, establishing escalation paths, and setting up communication channels.
- Build partner-specific knowledge bases, review solution architectures and releases, document known issues, communicate best practices, and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Lead multi-vendor collaboration when issues span multiple vendors and manage mutual support systems and case-handling processes.
- Troubleshoot application, database, operating system, network, hypervisor, and storage issues.
- Help customers and partners build solutions involving application workloads and use cases.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems using RDBMS or NoSQL technologies.
- Coding or scripting ability in one or more of Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, or Go.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party technologies in areas including security and fraud, big data analytics and AI, healthcare, content management, IoT, database monitoring, and financial or telecommunications services.
- Hands-on systems engineering experience with Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting holistically from the application tier through the database and down to storage, including TCP/IP issues on operating systems and hypervisors.
- Experience administering or using AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting NAS, SAN, local storage, and multipathing.
- Preferred experience using or managing MongoDB and developing applications with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of authentication systems such as LDAP, Kerberos, and Active Directory.
- Experience with distributed version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration systems using vendor-specific enterprise operators.
- Familiarity with software product teams and product release processes from planning through release.
