Responsibilities
- Own basepowercompany.com end-to-end, including architecture, design, copy, and performance.
- Build and ship landing pages, campaign pages, product launches, and iterative improvements with Next.js, React, and Tailwind.
- Maintain visual consistency and brand quality across pages and breakpoints.
- Write and shape website copy in collaboration with Marketing and Design.
- Design and run A/B and multivariate experiments to improve conversion, engagement, and member quality.
- Own technical SEO and site performance, including Core Web Vitals, structured data, page speed, and crawlability.
- Build and maintain a reusable component library.
- Build AI-powered web features and workflows involving prompts, agents, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with Growth, Design, Product, and Engineering to translate business goals into web experiences.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience at the intersection of web design and frontend development, with a portfolio demonstrating both.
- Production-quality experience with Next.js, React, and Tailwind.
- Strong visual design skills across typography, spacing, hierarchy, and motion.
- Ability to write and edit website copy in Base’s voice.
- Hands-on experience with PostHog, including feature flags, session replay, experiments, and funnel analysis.
- Experience designing AI workflows, prompting models, and integrating AI features into production web experiences.
- Strong SEO and performance fundamentals, including Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML, structured data, and rendering strategies.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Ability to work independently and own the full scope of a web project.
