Responsibilities
- Own basepowercompany.com end-to-end: architecture, design, copy, and performance.
- Build and ship pages using Next.js, React, and Tailwind.
- Maintain visual consistency and brand quality across all pages.
- Write and shape website copy in Base’s voice.
- Design and run A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Own technical SEO and site performance metrics.
- Build and maintain a component library for faster development.
- Integrate AI-powered features into the website.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business goals into web experiences.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in web design and front-end development.
- Proficiency in Next.js, React, and Tailwind with a strong portfolio.
- Strong design sensibility regarding typography, spacing, and hierarchy.
- Experience writing and editing web copy.
- Hands-on experience with PostHog for analytics and experiments.
- Comfort with AI integration in web projects.
- Strong fundamentals in SEO and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Figma for design tasks.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage full web projects independently.
