Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and manage cloud applications on SAP BTP across platform administration, solution design, frontend development, and backend development.
- Develop Node.js backend services and APIs with CRUD operations, business logic, validations, and frontend integration.
- Build responsive SAPUI5 interfaces using XML views, controllers, and the MVC approach.
- Design data models and database artifacts and connect applications to SAP HANA persistence patterns.
- Configure SAP BTP subaccounts, service instances, roles, connectivity artifacts, and destinations for external integrations.
- Package and deploy applications using multi-target application deployment artifacts where applicable.
- Implement LLM-integrated features including tool calling, orchestration, memory and state handling, and safe action boundaries.
- Build retrieval-grounded experiences over enterprise content and APIs and create evaluation loops with offline test sets and online monitoring.
- Use Git-based workflows, debug backend and database issues, and support production-ready full-stack delivery.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience is required.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on SAP BTP application development experience is required.
- Experience spanning SAP BTP platform architecture, administration basics, solution design, frontend development, backend development, APIs, data models, and UI integration.
- Experience with agentic AI application patterns, LLM integration, retrieval-grounded generation, evaluation, and production hardening.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, CI/CD orientation, and prototype-to-production delivery.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio and structured SAP BTP application-development learning paths is beneficial.
