Base Salary
$172k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize vehicle HMIs using Unreal Engine with C++, Unity3D with C#, or a custom 3D rendering system.
- Build core frameworks powering real-time 3D clusters and human-machine interfaces.
- Design the integration between vehicle sensor data, SDV/VHAL systems, and 3D scene graphs for low-latency visualization.
- Profile and optimize rendering performance for automotive-grade SoCs, including memory, GPU utilization, and thermal efficiency.
- Develop custom engine plugins and automated build pipelines for deploying 3D assets to vehicle hardware.
Requirements
- Deep Unreal Engine experience with C++, Blueprints, the UObject system, and custom HLSL shader development, or mastery of Unity, C#, HDRP, and custom package development.
- Strong understanding of modern rendering pipelines, PBR, lighting, and post-processing for mobile or embedded targets.
- Expert-level C++ proficiency and familiarity with Kotlin or Swift for platform-level integration.
- Strong 3D mathematics foundation, including vectors, quaternions, matrices, spatial transformations, and camera logic.
- Preferred: experience deploying Unity or Unreal HMI applications to Android Automotive OS or specialized Linux distributions.
- Preferred: familiarity with Cuttlefish and emulator-based testing for 3D UI validation.
- Preferred: knowledge of functional safety standards and their impact on real-time automotive graphics.
