Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy systems that automate finance workflows and produce real-time financial insights.
- Define and contribute to the technical roadmap, translate customer and internal requirements into scalable architectures, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop AI-powered data pipelines that extract, classify, and link unstructured operational and finance data.
- Architect real-time synchronization systems using GraphQL subscriptions, WebSockets, and PubSub.
- Design multi-tenant procurement, inventory, and accounting features with organization-level data isolation.
- Build integrations with ecommerce, warehouse, financial, logistics, and email platforms.
- Optimize background processing for document analysis, data aggregation, and automated financial reconciliation.
- Influence engineering standards, establish best practices for system design, code quality, testing, and operations, and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack industry experience building complex, data-intensive applications.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, NestJS, GraphQL, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Experience architecting systems from scratch, ideally in finance, accounting, supply chain, or another B2B domain.
- Experience building real-time systems using WebSockets, subscriptions, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AI/ML integrations, agentic workflows, document processing, and content extraction.
- Understanding of multi-tenant architecture patterns and enterprise security requirements.
- Experience with AWS and Docker.
- Ability to work with complex domains and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Bonus experience with inventory management, document processing, financial systems, or general ledger systems.
