Responsibilities

  • Translate customer connectivity, isolation, access, and performance requirements into managed networking platform capabilities.
  • Build Kubernetes-native automation for tenant and node network provisioning, scaling, repair, replacement, reassignment, and cleanup.
  • Own BGP, routing policy, VLANs, overlays, ingress, egress, VIPs, load balancers, public IPs, and external connectivity across data center networks.
  • Own Kubernetes networking for management and tenant clusters, including Cilium, network policy, service routing, and bare-metal integration.
  • Automate GPU networking lifecycle operations for NVL72 systems, InfiniBand, RoCE, and GPUDirect.
  • Manage dynamic address allocation, network inventory, tenant configuration, and integrations with IPAM and fabric-management systems.
  • Define and verify tenant segmentation, traffic policies, management boundaries, and network security controls.
  • Implement declarative configuration, continuous reconciliation, automated validation, staged rollouts, drift detection, and recovery procedures.
  • Own network telemetry, troubleshooting, incident remediation, and reliability improvements across hosts, clusters, fabrics, and edge networks.

Requirements

  • Deep production experience designing and operating data center networking services through deployment, expansion, maintenance, and incidents.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, routing policy, peering, ECMP, segmentation, interconnects, packet paths, and network failure behavior.
  • Experience with leaf-spine fabrics, underlay and overlay networks, VLANs, VRFs, and EVPN/VXLAN for tenant separation.
  • Practical Kubernetes and Linux networking experience, including CNI behavior, Cilium or comparable systems, network policy, and service exposure.
  • Experience building Kubernetes controllers, operators, and custom resources in Go, including reconciliation loops that handle retries, partial failures, and cleanup.
  • Experience with network automation, GitOps-style configuration management, version control, code review, automated testing, and controlled rollouts.
  • Experience delivering multitenant infrastructure or managed Kubernetes networking products, including onboarding, provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and production support.
  • Experience securing networks carrying customer workloads and testing tenant isolation, management boundaries, and traffic controls.
  • Experience with fabric-management and IPAM systems such as Netris, UFM, and NetBox or comparable tools.
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU infrastructure and AI networking, including InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, NVL72 systems, RDMA, RoCE, and congestion control.
  • Experience networking large GPU clusters, including distributed workload performance, high-bandwidth east-west traffic, and multi-site connectivity.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into reliable, supportable networking capabilities with defined behavior and operational procedures.

Benefits

  • The stated U.S. total cash salary range is $270,400-$401,600 and includes potential bonus value, with placement based on location, experience, skills, and internal compensation standards.
  • International compensation varies according to local market conditions.
