Responsibilities

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customers on their cloud security journey.
Assess customer cloud security posture and ensure secure cloud design and build.
Provide guidance on cloud security roadmaps and define appropriate security controls.
Collaborate with customer architects to design and deliver cloud security Proof of Concepts.
Evolve and implement new Rackspace security services under the 'Cloud Security Service' banner.
Establish best practices for consultancy and standardized engagement models.
Mentor and train other security architects on multi-cloud security topics.
Promote cloud-native security through blogs, presentations, and public speaking.
Deliver high-quality consulting engagements through workshops and architecture designs.
Identify opportunities for new engagements and contribute to RFI/RFP requests.

Proven track record in designing and delivering cloud security solutions.
Ability to present effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a preference for GCP.
Demonstrable experience in designing secure cloud-native systems.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO27001.
In-depth knowledge of cloud provider best practices and well-architected frameworks.
Experience leading engagements and delivering customer value within budget and scope.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, and CISM are advantageous.
Willingness to travel across EMEA as needed for customer engagements.
