Base Salary
$100k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters and associated cloud infrastructure for AI/ML solutions supporting geospatial intelligence.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams and imagery, FMV, and GEOINT analysts to optimize performance and reliability.
- Enforce security best practices for Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy AI/ML capabilities using multiple technological and computational methodologies to support operational insight.
- Lead projects and collaborate in a customer-facing environment.
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science plus 10+ years of IT systems administration or development experience, including at least 3 years as a DevOps Engineer; or 14+ years of progressive DevOps and cloud deployment experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on Kubernetes expertise, including cluster deployment, management, and troubleshooting, supporting the Department of War or Intelligence Community.
- Strong understanding of Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, cloud and containerized networking, monitoring, and logging tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to lead projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate certification level under DOD 8140.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Experience using geospatial data and providing AI/ML support to intelligence analysis preferred.
- Current CKA, CKAD, or CKS certification preferred.
- Experience with Istio or Linkerd, GitOps principles, database administration for SQL and NoSQL systems, and microservices architecture preferred.
