Responsibilities
- Develop software for the Spine Application on the Excelsius GPS system.
- Create prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-quality solutions.
- Design solutions for efficient performance and scalability.
- Contribute to software design, testing, documentation, and test-driven development.
- Support the development of manufacturing test fixtures and related documentation.
- Work independently on sizeable efforts and collaborate in small teams.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge and comply with applicable company, legal, and industry requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of professional programming experience on Windows platforms, or a master’s degree with 1–3 years of experience.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience programming in C and C++.
- Experience developing software tools, utilities, and libraries or components.
- Experience with UI development, especially Qt, is a plus.
- Medical-device industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in small teams.
- Strong oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and lifting specified weights.
