Base Salary
$95k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, maintain, and document automated tests, with occasional manual testing.
- Design test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Expand, improve, and innovate existing automation frameworks and optimize application test coverage.
- Review test reports and investigate and summarize results for stakeholders.
- Review automation engineers’ code, participate in paired programming, and mentor junior test engineers.
- Work with junior test engineers on estimates and report status to management.
Requirements
- At least 4 years in the software industry with experience in software quality test automation.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience with front-end and back-end applications.
- Strong knowledge of C# or other object-oriented languages.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, SOLID, design patterns, and design principles.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, automation testing, databases, networking, web services, and UI applications.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar issue-tracking tools.
- A degree in computer science, information systems, or similar technical education is preferred.
