Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day supervision, work allocation, issue resolution, and communications for the UAT test team.
- Plan and execute end-to-end testing, including test data, environments, defect management, automation, and test scenarios.
- Lead testing meetings, deputize for the Program Test Manager, and manage stakeholder and delivery-team expectations.
- Identify testing automation opportunities and improve testing processes and synergies across projects.
- Document team skills gaps, support knowledge transfer, and ensure UAT capabilities are transferable across the team.
- Write test scripts using Business Driven Development approaches such as Gherkin.
- Monitor and report testing defects, coordinate retesting, and present test results for internal sign-off.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve productivity while validating outputs through review, testing, and secure coding standards.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining Cucumber/Gherkin, Java, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Functional knowledge of the payments domain and experience defining requirements, documenting user stories and test scripts, and executing tests.
- Previous experience with automated testing tools for efficient end-to-end test execution.
- Ability to work independently, structure complex issues, resolve problems, and provide timely remediation.
- Strong organizational, communication, reporting, stakeholder-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience with Business Driven Development, Test Driven Development, or test case automation.
- Preferred financial services testing experience in complex, high-volume environments supporting multiple lines of business.
- Advanced numeracy and Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint or Pitch Pro presentation development.
