Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and hands-on development of scalable React Native mobile applications.
- Design mobile experiences and shared capabilities across multiple restaurant brands.
- Define coding standards, architecture patterns, development practices, and technical governance.
- Develop and promote reusable modules, shared frameworks, and component strategies.
- Contribute hands-on through development, code reviews, debugging, performance improvements, and production support.
- Mentor engineers and guide architecture and technical direction.
- Collaborate with product, UX, QA, backend, and business stakeholders on integration, testing, and release planning.
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 5+ years in mobile application development.
- 4+ years of hands-on React Native experience.
- Proven experience as a hands-on technical leader who manages architecture decisions, enforces standards, and mentors team members.
- Strong understanding of modular architecture, reusable design patterns, and shared component strategies.
- Demonstrated success delivering and supporting mobile products across iOS and Android.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
