Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and continuously improve the enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform.
- Support Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, PVS, NetScaler/ADC, and Ivanti UWM.
- Manage image updates, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and other platform lifecycle activities.
- Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues and drive incident-based reliability improvements.
- Develop automation with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform to simplify operations and reduce manual effort.
- Improve monitoring and observability using Grafana, Citrix Director, and ControlUp.
- Define and support reliability indicators covering availability, performance, and operations.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, workplace, and engineering teams on vulnerability management and platform improvements.
- Promote platform ownership, operational resilience, engineering best practices, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of recent hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, including PVS, NetScaler/ADC, ControlUp, Citrix Director, and Ivanti UWM.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix policies, security, performance, and architecture.
- Solid infrastructure knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and basic networking.
- Hands-on automation experience combined with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with observability and monitoring in large enterprise environments.
- Understanding of SRE principles, operational excellence, metrics, and reliability engineering.
- A structured, solution-oriented mindset focused on simplifying systems and improving efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, workplace, security, and engineering teams.
