Responsibilities
- Write, test, and debug software, including complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on requirements, design reviews, code reviews, and software specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and support as a subject matter expert.
- Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Assess and help adopt new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry work experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- At least one software language and familiarity with development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- An advanced degree, relevant certifications, or relevant training is preferred.
