Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable technology solutions supporting Trafilea’s growth and Trafilea Engine.
- Develop new capabilities and improve existing systems, with a focus on internal APIs and infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for high-scale environments.
- Identify and address technical debt, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, performance issues, reliability concerns, and security needs.
- Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, code reviews, backlog shaping, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Implement observability practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging.
- Document technical solutions and connect technical decisions and KPIs with product and business priorities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong full-stack experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, NestJS, or comparable technologies.
- Strong frontend development experience with React and Next.js.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and system reliability.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern development workflows, and engineering quality practices.
- Experience with observability and production systems, including monitoring, logging, debugging, technical debt, and performance bottlenecks.
