Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end software for Everyday Essentials customer experiences.
- Solve ambiguous customer and business problems by developing clear, simple, scalable solutions.
- Partner with scientists, product managers, and designers to turn customer problems into products that ship worldwide.
- Use AI tools and modern engineering practices to improve development speed and software quality.
- Monitor owned systems, respond to operational issues, and continuously improve customer and partner experiences.
- Contribute to code reviews, mentoring, hiring, and raising the team’s technical bar.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Preferred: experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
