Responsibilities
- Design and build backend systems for ad safety and compliance.
- Develop mechanisms to verify advertiser identity and assess risk.
- Evaluate ad content and landing pages for user safety.
- Determine appropriate ad placements in products like ChatGPT.
- Collaborate with Ads, Integrity, and Personalization teams.
- Contribute to ML systems for automated decision-making and risk detection.
- Shape technical direction and best practices for the Ads Integrity team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with production backend services and data pipelines.
- Generalist skills across distributed systems and applied ML integrations.
- A humble attitude and eagerness to support team success.
- Self-directed with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in trust, safety, integrity, or risk-sensitive domains.
- Motivated by the responsibility of working on ads.
