Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases and test suites based on engineering requirements.
- Validate supplier-delivered software packages and ECU feature releases before deployment.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution using Jira and similar issue-tracking platforms.
- Build and maintain Python automation scripts and testing tools for data acquisition, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional vehicle engineering teams on release milestones and production-related software concerns.
- Analyze diagnostic and telemetry data to recommend troubleshooting actions and improve software quality and warranty outcomes.
Requirements
- Be in the last year of an Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics program.
- Have foundational knowledge of automotive systems and basic electronic circuits.
- Demonstrate hands-on Python proficiency for automation scripts, test harnesses, or data analysis.
- Have experience using laboratory measurement instruments such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Communicate professionally in written and spoken English and articulate technical defects effectively.
- Understand state diagrams, flowcharts, and decision tables.
