Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, highly available core platform services as part of an agile team.
- Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to solution design.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering leaders.
- Apply performance and scalability principles in software development.
- Troubleshoot and support the current platform in production.
- Participate in on-call rotation for issue resolution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in server-side development and integrations.
- 3+ years of experience in Java programming.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including design and data structures.
- Experience with public cloud platforms and microservices is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of building applications using the Spring Framework.
- Experience implementing RESTful and RPC interfaces.
- Familiarity with design patterns and distributed systems.
- Experience developing and deploying internet-scale distributed services.
- Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Positive, self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
