Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and development tooling.
- Maintain ownership of the CI/CD stack and improve its reliability, observability, stability, and performance.
- Research, implement, and develop tools that help developers write and build code.
- Ensure CI/CD infrastructure and processes are reliable and consistent.
- Remain connected to the product and contribute to direct feature development.
- Optimize CI build times and support infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
Requirements
- Solid Linux background.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD stacks.
- Working proficiency with Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of AWS technologies including EC2, IAM, S3, and Route 53.
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience optimizing CI build times with Jenkins, RSpec, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or ClickHouse.
- Experience with build systems such as Webpack or Gradle and CI tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
