Responsibilities
- Write and debug C/C++ firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Implement and troubleshoot I2C, SPI, and Serial (UART) communication interfaces.
- Use JTAG emulators and debugging tools to identify and resolve hardware and firmware issues.
- Develop Python scripts for test automation, data collection, and validation.
- Support processing and analysis of test and sensor data.
- Prototype and validate designs using Arduino and other development boards.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to bring designs from concept to working prototype.
- Document code, test procedures, and results.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with C/C++ and working knowledge of Python.
- Preferred experience with microcontrollers, basic circuits, I2C, SPI, Serial interfaces, JTAG emulators, hardware debugging tools, AI tools for code and test-script generation, data processing or analysis, and Arduino or other vendor development kits.
Benefits
- Spring/Summer 2027 start with a 2–3 semester rotation that may be consecutive or non-consecutive; January start dates are preferred, but other start dates will be considered.
- 40 hours per week in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

- Estimated pay is $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
