Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex Oracle PL/SQL solutions and optimize database performance, indexing, and execution plans.
- Design integrations using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and secure connections.
- Govern Oracle roles, privileges, data access models, batch scheduling, and automation using Control-M and Oracle job scheduling.
- Develop advanced Oracle APEX pages, reusable components, plugins, security configurations, workspace architecture, and consistent UI/UX.
- Create technical designs, architecture documents, integration patterns, data structures, metadata, and interfaces.
- Lead impact analysis across dependent systems and collaborate with data teams on definitions, consistency, and reporting needs.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, develop test scenarios, support automation and debugging, and maintain technical documentation.
- Support operational continuity for Tier 1 and Tier 2 systems and oversee Oracle deployment lifecycle practices.
- Apply OWASP and NIST security principles, GDPR-aligned data handling, and risk mitigation across legacy systems.
- Mentor junior developers, coordinate with SMEs, architects, product owners, and IT operations, and identify modernization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or IT, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and APEX development.
- Proven experience with REST, JSON, XML, and integrations.
- Strong database optimization skills and experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and DevOps pipelines.
- Technical leadership, communication, strategic thinking, analytical depth, quality and security awareness, and mentoring skills.
- Experience in healthcare, logistics, or pharmaceutical environments is preferred.
