Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and services.
- Participate in requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Perform code reviews and improve software quality.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java, object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, distributed applications, Git, and JUnit.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD practices, and software quality processes.
- Comfort working in a Windows-based corporate environment using Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of microservices, cloud-native technologies, TCP/IP networking, client-server applications, network management technologies, message brokers, event-driven architectures, Python or Bash scripting, and telecommunications or transport networks.
- Additional preferred experience includes YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, TAPI, service orchestration, DWDM, G.709/OTN, and international research or standardization projects.
