Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy generative AI assistants, knowledge search solutions, workflow automation, and machine learning applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and production-ready AI solutions integrated with enterprise applications, approved AI platforms, APIs, and business data sources.
- Assess AI use cases for business value, feasibility, data readiness, cost, risk, and measurable operational outcomes.
- Contribute to the regional AI vision and roadmap across AMEWA, Asia, and India, aligning delivery with Group strategy, architecture, and approved platforms.
- Monitor availability, performance, output quality, usage, and cost; troubleshoot incidents and maintain reliable integrations and data flows.
- Implement version control, automated testing, CI/CD practices, operational documentation, support procedures, and production ownership.
- Apply access controls, data protection, human oversight, security safeguards, evaluation methods, and responsible AI principles.
- Support demonstrations, user testing, training, adoption, stakeholder communication, and knowledge sharing across regions and functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or a related role, including hands-on AI solution delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Python and software engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience developing AI or machine learning applications and deploying them into production.
- Practical experience with large language models, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and vector search.
- Experience integrating applications through REST APIs and connecting AI solutions to enterprise data sources.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and enterprise AI services.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data preparation, and data quality.
- Experience with Git-based source control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of AI evaluation, monitoring, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Ability to assess trade-offs between solution quality, latency, scalability, and cost.
- Nice-to-have experience with Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, enterprise AI assistants, document processing, knowledge management, workflow automation, containerization, infrastructure automation, MLOps or LLMOps, ServiceNow, Jira, and GitLab.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, in Agile delivery environments, and in multinational organizations across multiple regions.
- Professional fluency in English; French is a plus.
