Responsibilities

  • Develop drivers, software, and firmware for hardware and systems products.
  • Specify, design, implement, test, sustain, and maintain software features for new and existing products.
  • Apply software design, architecture, object-oriented programming, and computer architecture principles.
  • Define and complete software projects while owning goals, schedules, and task completion.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, systems R&D, manufacturing, and other global business groups.
  • Maintain product quality and security requirements and drive continuous software development improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • More than five years of professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages, especially C and C++.
  • Understanding of software design and architecture, object-oriented programming, hardware or systems programming, computer architecture, and operating systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and complete software projects.
  • Preferred experience with Windows driver development, Linux kernel-mode and user-mode driver development, Windows and Linux debugging tools such as WinDBG, unit testing, and Python.
  • Ability to solve problems, take initiative, work independently, take ownership, communicate effectively in English, and collaborate across groups and global teams.
