Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, API, and post-deployment testing across web-based applications and related systems.
- Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria and provide feedback on clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Develop and maintain test cases, checklists, scenarios, test plans, regression suites, and other QA documentation.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and validate defects in collaboration with developers.
- Conduct release-readiness assessments, risk analysis, and post-deployment validation.
- Improve QA processes, testing practices, documentation standards, and quality-control workflows.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities and improve QA efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate testing status, defects, risks, blockers, and release-readiness concerns to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing, including strong manual-testing experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing techniques, defect management, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience testing complex web applications across user interface, backend, integration, and API layers.
- Experience creating test cases, checklists, scenarios, and supporting test documentation.
- Experience with QA, development, or defect-management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Working understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience testing within integrated development and deployment environments.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development teams.
- Basic knowledge of T-SQL for testing and validation activities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience, is desirable.
- Experience with automated test cases, scripts, testing frameworks, API-testing tools, QA process improvement, and quality-engineering initiatives is desirable.
