Base Salary
$187k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software release delivery across multiple software teams, platforms, and environments.
- Align releases with business priorities, operational and technical readiness requirements, risk tolerance, and governance standards.
- Coordinate development, QA, operations, business stakeholders, and governance bodies.
- Manage release dependencies, risks, approvals, testing, documentation, and deployment schedules.
- Facilitate production readiness, release approvals, environment stability, and go/no-go decisions.
- Lead stakeholder communication, release performance monitoring, process improvement, automation opportunities, and release management maturity.
- Mentor and cross-train IT team members on the release management lifecycle.
- Perform other projects impacting software release management as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering field plus three years of related experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields plus five years of progressive related experience.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting, code merge and conflict resolution, and release management, DevOps, or environment management in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional releases, software development lifecycle activities, release governance, and change management frameworks in regulated or highly governed environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Salesforce release processes, the ANT Migration Tool, and Agile development frameworks.
- Foreign equivalent degrees are accepted.
